This week we welcome interiors, lifestyle and props stylist, Murobond paint creator and soon-to-be-author Mr Jason Grant. His work has been featured in Australian and international magazines including Inside Out, Real Living, Australian Country Style, Gourmet Traveller, House and Garden, Myer Emporium Magazine, Elle Decoration UK and Living etc. Here he gives us a taste of life as a stylist through a week in pictures….
I love summer and Sydney and the best way to enjoy both is on the harbour. Here I’m on my friend Miss Chu’s boat – amazing!
I love beetles, Bondi and colour – this shot captures it all on my way to grab a morning coffee.
I loved the Little Black Jacket exhibition. Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld created some amazing images of the Chanel classic.
You know summer is fast approaching when you see jacarandas everywhere. Sydney is taken over by pops of purple.
A moment on location for an editorial assignment. Here are some of the props of the day: Basil Bangs makes a great umbrella and I do love a basket…
A moment at the Dream Dinner launching Dinosaur Design’s latest collections. They transformed their studio for a magical dinner with help from Grandiflora.
On assignment for a house photo shoot. The wombat stool is by Julie Patterson from Cloth
Sculptures by the Sea is right in my front yard (almost). It’s a hectic but inspiring time of the year and a great walk from Bondi to Tamarama to view the sculptures on display.
I finished off the week at the opening of Marimekko in Sydney. So exciting!
From Eri and Trudi: Thank you Jason. What a beautiful collection of images – Sydney never looked so colourful! For more awesome Instagram pics, follow @mr_jason_grant and @hardtofind_
